Karen Pinsent is well known in Mahone Bay for her many years of tireless volunteer service. As a long-time member of the Mahone Bay Tourism and Chamber of Commerce, she has spearheaded fundraising initiatives to beautify Mahone Bay and helps to organize the events that bring visitors to our town. Karen is also active with the Three Churches Foundation which works toward protecting the future of Mahone Bay’s most iconic landmark and volunteers organizing fundraising events for the Mahone Bay Museum, which works toward protecting our history. Thank you to Karen for her hard work and dedication to our town! Tomorrow, Wednesday May 17th, at 9am, join us in raising the pride flag to mark the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.

Leaf and yard waste can be left curbside for collection in the green bin, in paper leaf bags, and/or tied in bundles with no stick more than 3' long or 2" wide. Annual spring water main flushing will take place through the nights of Tuesday, May 9th and Wednesday, May 10th, from 9pm to 6am.
