Municipal Special Election
A Municipal special election to elect ONE (1) councillor in the Town of Mahone Bay will be held on SATURDAY, APRIL 7, 2018. Qualified electors may voice on that date between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm at the locations listed below.
Any elector who expects to be undable to vote on ordinary polling day (election day) may vote at one of the advance polls. The advance polls will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 and on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 between the hours of 12:00 noon and 8:00 pm at the locations listed below.

Proxy Voting
You may be able to vote by a proxy voter if you are on the List of Electors and will be unable to vote due to illness, physical disability or absence from the Town of Mahone Bay on March 29, 2018, and April 3, 2018 (advance poll days) and April 7, 2018 (election day). You may apply for a proxy paper by applying to Leah Zinck, Returning Officer, 493 Main Street, Mahone Bay NS (902-624-8327). Proxy papers may only be issued up to 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 29, 2018, and may only be used on Election Day (April 7, 2018).
