Dylan Heide named new CAO
The Town of Mahone Bay is pleased to welcome Dylan Heide as their new CAO. Originally from Mahone Bay, Mr. Heide is a graduate of Dalhousie University's Master of Public Administration Program and comes to the Town of Mahone Bay from the Town of Shelburne, where he has served as the Chief Administrative Officer for the past six years. Mr. Heide has previously worked for several municipal governments as well as for the Government of Nova Scotia and the Government of Nunavut.
Mr. Heide states, "I am truly excited to return home to Mahone Bay to take on the role of CAO for the Town. I look forward to joining the Town of Mahone Bay's team and rejoining my community of friends and neighbours after many years working away from my home."
Council and staff are pleased to welcome Dylan home to Mahone Bay and we look forward to seeing him starting on August 13th.

Meeting with Minister Chagger
A big thank you to the Mahone Bay Tourism and Chamber of Commerce for hosting MP Bernadette Jordan and the Honourable Bardish Chagger, Minister for Small Business and Tourism. The event held on May 15, 2018 brought together a great number of people from the tourism industry and small business community as well as representatives from local municipalities.
